An EAP provides a professional, confidential and readily accessible support service that can be accessed by staff at no cost to the individual. The ease and confidential access can encourage people to seek out early support that they otherwise may not have obtained. By seeking assistance early, employees may overcome these concerns before they worsen and further impact upon the person’s health and hence affect work performance and productivity.
EAP counselling and support services are normally provided in a face to face interview with the psychologist, and can be provided at any of the three CHG Clinics or at our specialist consulting rooms at 69 Henley Beach Rd, Mile End. Alternatively, an EAP counselling session can be conducted over the phone if this better suits the person seeking support.
